Even though Kathleen endured so many challenges, she never complained. She always had a big smile for everyone and she was always very generous with her family.
She loved horses as a child and learned to ride English as well as Western style.
She played the piano and loved her teacher as a child. She loved to sing and was always performing for the family.
We had a lot of fun together growing up. She did everything with me. Hiking, swimming, riding horses.
Kathleen even flew glider planes in the flying club at Redwood High School.
The love of her life has always been her son Derek Massouda. He was her joy and she was always very proud of him.
She loved turning 69 this past birthday. She graduated from high school and traveled through Europe afterwards in 1969. Now she had turned 69 and felt that was so cool.
I will miss my sister. We shared a special bond and I felt very protective of her. Our love for her lives in our hearts and we know we will see her again.
