Liza was born in Clay, Kentucky on April 7, 1946 to Emeline Chandler and Greenville Strong.
She met Jacque Dreher through friends when she was 16 years old and they decided to marry years later. After getting married, they moved to Washington State and a few years later moved to Pensacola, Florida; where they made their lives together and had three wonderful children. After 27 years in Pensacola, they moved up to Colorado with their son, John in tow, to live with Jacque’s first born son Jack, then about three years later moved to Colorado Springs.
Liza was such a beloved mother, wife and anyone who got to meet her loved her from the start. She loved going up to the mountains for a hike, seeing if there was wildlife nearby. She loved to fish, make crafts, paint pictures and tell many stories of things that had happened to her.
She made people laugh and cry but always put a smile on your face.
Sadly, her life was taken from colon cancer and she fought hard till her last breath. We are eased knowing she is not in pain and suffering any longer. God has taken this sweet angel from us with arms wide open.
Liza is survived by her son, John Dreher and daughter, Michelle Streeter, daughter in law Teresa Dreher, five grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Liza is preceded in passing by her husband Jacque Dreher and son James Dreher.
