Guadalupe Sanchez Salinas was born on September 5th, 1943 and passed away on November 14th, 2018. She was born in Merida Yucatan Mexico, and shortly after, moved to Cuidad Juarez, Mexico. Here she had blossomed into a hardworking young adult working diligently as a housekeeper. In Juarez she met a man by the name of Eduardo Salinas who would later become the love of her life. In March of 1965 Lupe and Eduardo would marry. In August of that same year they welcomed their first-born child Eduardo Salinas Jr. Their marriage would last almost 50 years until the death of Eduardo Salinas Sr. in 2014.
In 1967 they had moved over to Redlands, CA where they set up roots of their family in the United States and had a total of 5 children together. Since then Lupe has taken on many different occupations from working in the Laundromat on G street, being a housekeeper for around the neighborhood in Redlands, but the one she took most pride and dignity in was being a mother to her family.
Guadalupe "Lupe" Salinas has lived a very long and memorable life. It is sad to see her leave, but now she may rest in peace along side her husband.
She is survived by her daughters Angelina Ordaz & Martha Mendoza; Sons, Sergio Salinas & Lorenzo Salinas; Granddaughters, Isabelle Mendoza & Angelina Ordaz; and her Grandsons, Lawrence Salinas, Eduardo Ordaz, and Jose Ordaz.
