Over the Christmas break, I was able to spend some time talking with my father-in-law about his memories of growing up and living in the Philippines. He was such a good storyteller, and I feel so fortunate to have had that special time with him. He loved visiting with people and having his family around him. I will remember his smile, his jokes, and his quiet, sweet nature.
