Maria Juanita Guerrero, 93, of Colton, passed away and entered God’s presence on June 10, 2019. Her final days were spent lovingly surrounded by her children and family that she held so dearly.

Juanita was born on August 5, 1925, in Julesburg, Colorado, to Nabor and Simona Hernandez. She was one of eleven children born to her parents. She is survived by her sister, Julia Arredondo, of Salamanca, Guanajuato, Mexico.

Juanita is also survived by her seven children, Joe (Fanny) Morales of Banning; Martin Morales of Rialto; Maria (Armando) Murillo of Colton; Sara (Joe) Montijo of Perris; Bertha (Abraham) Maravel of Crestline; Rachel (Ismael) Najar of Colton; Susie (Lupe) Sandoval of Highland; as well as 31 grandchildren, 49 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to everyone who reached out to offer their support and condolences during this difficult time.

Mi hermosa Tia Juanita, a la que quise con todo mi corazón. Ella siempre tan cariñosa conmigo. Recordaré por siempre, con mucho cariño, los momentos a su lado disfrutando siempre de sus amenas charlas y platicandome historias sobre su vida, la de mis abuelos y mis tios. Aun conservo en mi recuerdo desde niña el aroma de aquellas papas que nos hacia en los almuerzos y su rico mole. Sus manitas tomadas de las mias y yo abrazandola y ella riendose. Tia Juanita, la amo, y la llevaré por siempre en mi corazón. Se que ahora está con nuesto Señor Jesús en el cielo. Descanse en Paz.
