I am an old friend of Leah's. I am devastated to find this obituary about her (and Florence - I had no idea!). I knew Leah since we were about 4 years old. We lived in Homewood Apartments in Baltimore and her mom and my mom were good friends and students together. I talked with Leah every year on her birthday when I called her every May 5th until about 10 years ago when I lost touch with her and couldn't find her mom or Tony's contact info. I guess they finally moved out of the little house. I am so sorry to hear this and would really appreciate some more information about it. My email address is Thank you and blessings to everyone. I knew Leah from Poseurs, a cute little club, where everyone practically knew everyone. Leah was a lovely person, she was such a Kind and Uplifting Girl! This news greatly saddened me. My thoughts and Prayers go out to her Family and Friends and so many other people that Leahs life touched in some way! My Heart goes out to you! Jennifer Fowler Carlson

You came to us during one Springtime and departed us during another. Throughout all of the joys, challenges, wonders, difficulties, and blessings you encountered in life you had such a generous, loving and irrepressible spirit. We will always cherish the memories of the far too brief time that you had shared with us. We will always remember you, love you and pray for you. May you now go with the blessings of God. Take Care.

I'm so sorry to hear about the passing of Leah. I had some of my best times with her. I met her in the late '80s and we were inseparatable for years after that. I loved Leah. She was always smiling and had a great sense of humor. I was trully shocked and saddened to learn of her passing. I'm sorry that as years went by we were not in touch much. I deeply regret that. She is going to be missed deeply by everyone that knew her. My thoughts and prayers are you, Rod, and Leah's Father Tony, and the rest of Leah's family. she will be missed!!

Tony and ML,

My deepest condolences. My wife, Jamie, lost a brother and a sister, both suddenly. I have seen the pain it causes the parents to lose a child and I am so sorry for yours and for your son in law's.

Leah and I shared a lot of time together in high school. She was a good friend and one of the most generous people I have ever known. She was kind and always...always had a smile on her face. You are in my prayers.

Leah, you were a great friend to me. You were my buddy! I loved the "billy Idol" hair you gave me in high school. It was a part of my image. The gang at Whittier will always love you! -Lex
