Jean Danley, aged 78, formerly a long-time resident of Columbia, MO, passed away peacefully at her home in Lenexa, KS on Tuesday, September 3, 2019. She was born to the late Rube and Estelle Fenton on March 23, 1941.
Jean is survived by her husband of 60 years, Ralph Danley, their two daughters, seven grandchildren, and several other loving relatives and close friends.
She spent more than 70 years in Columbia before relocating to Lenexa to be closer to her family, due to early onset health issues.
Jean was a devoted member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church. She enjoyed being with family whom she loved very much. Although she wasn’t a fan of cooking, she loved to bake with her grandchildren. Jean was a loving wife, mother, and friend.
In her last years of life, her sickness progressed and she grew weak, but never once did we question her strength. A true testament to her character.
A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, 903 Bernadette Dr. Columbia, Missouri.
