Sandra Jean Wayson

COLUMBIA – Sandra Jean Wayson, age 84, passed from this earth on October 5, 2022 at Columbia, South Carolina. Born in Ripley, Ohio on September 26, 1938, Sandra was the daughter of the late George Henry Haitz and Janet Becker Haitz. She attended Ripley-Union-Lewis High School in Ripley, Ohio. She was the manager of Private PO for 12 years. Sandra was a member of Bethel United Methodist Church where she was a member of Belle Dent Circle. Surviving are her daughter, Lynn A. Koehler, and son-in-law, William A. Koehler of Irmo, SC; a son, Robert E. Wayson II, and daughter-in-law, Lee A. Knickerbocker Wayson of Oolagah, OK; granddaughter, Christina (Ryan) Wilson of Irmo, SC; grandsons, Timothy (Liz) Koehler of Travelers Rest, SC and Jonathan (Jayne) Koehler of Chapin, SC; eight great-grandchildren; and a sister, Gail Spiller of Georgetown, Ohio. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Wayson, one great-grandson, and one great-granddaughter. Services will be private.
