Barbara Ann Daniel

Barbara Ann Daniel, age 82, of Columbus, Georgia passed away on Friday, June 8, 2018. Barbara was born September 11, 1935, in Columbus, Georgia to her late parents Mary Donie Harris and Charles Alford Harris. Barbara grew up with a selfless, servant’s heart. She was always giving and volunteering at church and loved leading children’s class. Barbara taught her children to have faith and trust in prayer. She set a wonderful example of what a healthy marriage should be, and how to live a good life. Barbara loved gatherings with the family on weekends at Burger King, growing Roses, and her dogs. She will always be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and teacher.

Along with her parents, Barbara was preceded in death by: her husband Henry Daniel, Jr.; sons Henry Scott Daniel and James David Daniel; brother Charles Harris and sister Elizabeth Katrare. She is survived by: daughter Mary Donna Harrell and son Brian Keith Daniel; granddaughters Tabitha Mary Hall, Jennifer Lyn Thomas, Levie Gracelyn Jones, and Naomi Ruth Daniel; grandson Isaac Scott Daniel; great- grandchildren, Lane Hall, Mason Hall and Isabella Oliver.

A Memorial Celebration of Mrs. Daniel’s Life will be Friday, June 15, 2018, 2pm at Mt Zion Baptist Church, 1232 Double Churches Rd. Columbus, GA 31904, with Pastor Tom Neville officiating.
