Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27, 2018 in the Porter Chapel of First Baptist Church with Dr. Jimmy Elder officiating according to Striffler-Hamby Mortuary, Macon Road. Burial will follow in Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 26, 2018 at the funeral home.
Mrs. Woodworth was born February 12, 1950 in Albany, GA daughter of Donald Watson and Mary Ellis Watson. She was an active member of First Baptist Church of Columbus, Georgia. She retired from Aflac in 2017 with 16 years of service.
Her influence in our daily lives will be missed deeply, but her wisdom and great memories will encourage us on a daily basis. She is now in Heaven helping to prepare us a place to join her someday.
Survivors include her two sons Brian Arthur Woodworth and his wife Donna, Brent Alan Woodworth and his wife, Melonie: grandchildren Taylor Anne Tulipano and husband, Elliott, Timothy Brian Woodworth, Scott Alan Woodworth and Evelena Hope Woodworth: great granddaughters Brooklyn Marie Acree and Sadie Grace Tulipano, all of Columbus; numerous friends and family.
