
She was proud of her United States Marine Corp service during World War II, serving at Camp Pendleton, California in the Post Office, to release men for combat in the Pacific.
Frances was an accomplished artist, voracious reader, loving and supportive mother, and patient and adoring grandmother and great-grandmother.
Other than her parents, she was predeceased by her four siblings, her husband of 52 years, Benjamin Bartow Miller, and her daughter Abigail Elizabeth Miller.

Frances is survived by her daughters Margaret “Peggy” Miller Stewart and her husband Bob, and Nancy Miller Robbins and her husband Mike, grandchildren Jim Stewart, Jennifer Stewart, Joe Stewart and his wife Angie, JK Robbins and his wife Keisha, Lee Robbins and his fiancé Danae Flatford, Darby Miller and Remi Miller. Great-grandchildren are Samantha and Cole Robbins, Kyle and Katie Cox, and Lyla and Kara Stewart.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at Parkhill Cemetery, according to Striffler-Hamby 4071 Macon Road Columbus, GA.
Visitation will be held at 10:00 am, on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Columbus Hospice, Alzheimer’s Association, Chattahoochee Valley friends of the Library, or your favorite charity.
