Tommy Weaver Sr.

Tommy Weaver, age 72, resident of Columbus, passed away on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Piedmont Columbus Regional. Funeral services are scheduled at the Mill Room of Striffler-Hamby, Columbus on Thursday, May 17, 2018, 2 p.m. with Reverend (Dr.) Wayne Scarborough officiating. Interment will follow at Parkhill Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, May 16, 2018 from 5-7 p.m.

Mr. Weaver, son of the late Thomas Nall Weaver and Juanita Walker Weaver, was born July 31, 1945 in Spaulding County, Georgia. He was a member of Fairview Baptist Church, enjoyed hunting and NASCAR, and loved Alabama football.

Mr. Weaver is survived by his wife, Irene Weaver of Columbus; one son, Michael Weaver of Columbus; two daughters, Angela Hazel and her husband Christian of Sierra Vista, Arizona and Stacey Culberson of Columbus; one sister, Melanie Boyett and Jimmy of Columbus; five grandchildren, Savannah, Jared, Katie, Tyler, and Millie; two great-grandchildren, Kysen and Madelyn; many other relatives and friends.
