Brenda K. Behrman, 63, passed away on July 9, 2019 at her home. Brenda was born August 17, 1955 in Columbus, Indiana, the daughter of William and Edna Taylor. She graduated in the last graduating class of Columbus High School before it became East and North. She worked at Columbus Regional Hospital as an LPN for many years. She married her childhood neighbor across the creek, Ned Behrman.
Brenda enjoyed hiking, and traveling, and raised Newfoundland puppies with her husband for a short time.
Survivors include her husband, Ned; her son, William (Jenna) Behrman; and her grandson, Avery Bird.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her step-father, Merle Rumbley.
A Funeral Service for Brenda will be held Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 2 p.m. at Myers-Reed Chapel. A visitation will be held Friday, July 12 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. with additional visitation one hour before the service on Saturday. An inurnment is planned for a later date at Garland Brook Cemetery.
