Katie was a wonderful friend to Brenda both before and during Brenda's fight with cancer. I'm sad to see another great person leaving for Heaven what seems like way too soon.

Kate was wonderful and caring friend. She had an infectious attitude and smile that would light up the room. She was dedicated to her family and friends. Heaven has definitely gained a ray of sunshine. She will be missed.

Dear Katie, she lived EVERYDAY as if it was her last. She always kept busy, never slowing down. Not a day went by that I worked with her that she didnt not talk about family.
Often Katie would bring to school a Chick-a-Filet breakfasts sandwich, pumpkin muffins, a lemondade, cookies for the students, a pistachio cake, we laughed about how it had hit the floor of her car on her way to school but, we weren't going to tell anyone. It still taseted wonderful.
She was always there to help anyone here and at the "big school" who need a something done. Even if it was just to let them take a breather or get a coffee. I will very much miss her funny stories and her wonderful energy!

Katie will be missed greatly in the halls at St. Bartholomew School. Always a smile and laughs too numerous to count. Fly high my friend! Until we meet again. Love and Hugs to all.

Life won’t be the same without our friend, Katie. We loved to tease her about how she did everything so quickly. Our first Christmas card each year was from her. Once we had a cookout and she was already emptying hot coals before we’d eaten the burgers. She said she had slowed down, but I don’t think she did. She was a great hostess who enjoyed having guests. We have great memories of traveling, visiting, and partying with Katie and Louie. Much love to the family.
