Leonard was born in East Liverpool, Ohio April 21, 1955, the son of Frank and Shirles McBee Nudi.
He served in the United States Navy. While serving in Campus Crusade for Christ he met Debra Price, they were married May 24, 1980 in San Diego, California; she preceded him in death October 20, 2013.
He was a member of The Ridge of Columbus, enjoyed Jane Austen Novels and reading about politics. He also was a Civil War buff.
He is survived by children, Emily Celeste, Brandon and Darcy Nudi all of Columbus; siblings, Mary Frances (Jeff) Eggleston of Colorado, Francis Xavier Nudi of Indianapolis, Laura Ellen Nudi of New York and Christina Nudi of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife; sister, Marian Gloria Hulska.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday Myers~Reed Chapel on 25th Street with Chuck Price officiating, Visitation will be Friday 4 ~8 p.m. and from 1 p.m. Saturday to time of service. Burial, with military honors by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard, will be in Flatrock Baptist Cemetery. Online condolences can be sent to the family at www.myers-reed.com.
