Betty Jean Wickham

Betty Jean Wickham, age 83 of Gahanna, was called home by God on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. Betty was born and raised in Ashland, Kentucky, daughter of the late Frank and Ida Wilcox. Also preceded in death by her beloved husband, Earl W. Wickham, and brothers, Charles, George, Douglas, and Donald Wilcox. Betty retired as a dental assistant and office manager. She was always known for being a sweet, outgoing woman with an energetic and sometimes flirty personality. She previously attended Crestview Presbyterian Church and was an active member and volunteer with the Westerville Senior Center. In addition, Betty believed in staying healthy and enjoyed going to the gym and walking 3 miles daily. She also prided herself as being a "euchre card shark." She will be greatly missed by her children, Paula (Chris) Weatherman, Susan (David) Day, and Chris (Marina) Wickham; grandchildren, Kara (Shane) Hull, Kevin Kowalsky, Stacie Wickham, Austin and Jarret Day; great grandchildren, Logan, Mikayla, and Shane Hull, Jr.; brother, Robert (Donna) Wilcox; sister, Dianna Blankenship; and dear friends. Family will receive friends from 5-8 P.M. Friday, June 5, 2015 at SCHOEDINGER NORTH CHAPEL, 5554 Karl Rd. Graveside funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M.
