Florence Marie Barr

Florence Marie Barr, age 98, passed away Sunday, April 17, 2011 at Columbus West Park. She was born in Columbus to the late Charles and Margaret Swiger on July 3, 1912. Florence was a very active and energetic woman who loved to shop. She was a long time member of the Grace of God Lutheran Church. Florence had many joys in life, but she truly loved to spend time with her great grandson, Brandon. Her family will forever miss her companionship, love and support. She is preceded in death by her husband, George; survived by daughter, Barbara Barth; granddaughters, Heather (Doug) Rufer, Melissa (Mike) Barth Kelly, great grandson, Brandon Rufer; and numerous nieces and nephews, including a very special niece, Flo (Ken) Prater. Friends may call from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm, Friday, April 22, 2011 at the Hilltop Schoedinger Chapel, 3030 W. Broad St., where funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, April, 23, 2011.
