Roy L. Donnerberg

Roy L. Donnerberg, MD, age 95, passed away Thursday, January 19, 2023. He was born on September 1, 1927 in Cincinnati, Ohio to the late Harry L. and Cora (Knabe) Donnerberg. Roy served in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He graduated from the University Of Cincinnati School Of Medicine and completed his residency at The Ohio State University. In addition to his parents, Roy was preceded in death by four sisters. He is survived by his loving wife of 72 years, Kathleen L. Donnerberg; children, Kathy Bishop, Judy (John) Mattinson, Kipp (Sandra) Donnerberg, and Scott (Amy) Donnerberg; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Family will receive friends 10:30-11:30 am Monday, January 23, 2023 at Schoedinger East, 5360 E. Livingston Ave., where the funeral service will begin at 11:30 am. Interment to take place at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Church of the Redeemer United Methodist, 235 McNaughten Rd, Columbus, OH 43213.
