OBITUARY
Connie Sue Marco
April 13, 1945 – January 8, 2021
Connersville resident Connie Marco, 75, died Friday, January 8, 2021 at Reid Heath of Richmond.
Connie was born to Joseph Ray and Billy Jean Lawrence Borders on April 13, 1945 in Gibson County, Indiana. She was a 1963 graduate of Connersville High School. Connie furthered her education by becoming a Certified Nursing Assistant in St. Petersburg, Florida. Connie was an animal advocate and treated her own animals like her children. She enjoyed spending time with her friends and family. Connie is preceded in death by her parents.
Connie is survived by her only brother: Kerry Borders and his wife Joann of Connersville; nephews: Robert Borders and Anthony Borders and his wife Lisa, all of Connersville; great-nephews: Logan, Matthew, Clint; great-niece: Emily; great-great-nephew: Sawyer.
At the request of the family, a private funeral service will be conducted at their convenience. Showalter Blackwell Long, Myers Chapel, Connersville has been entrusted with arrangements. In Lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fayette County Animal Shelter or the Fayette County Humane Society in Connie’s memory.

Please accept my sincerest condolences on the passing of Connie. She was in my sister, Sharon (York) Knight's graduating class of 1963. I remember her well. I'm sure my sister and Connie are catching up with each other right now. Please know that I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers. May God bring you peace and comfort in the days ahead.

We mowed Connie’s yard, she was a very sweet lady. She had two little doggies . The smaller one would always tell me off when I went in..lol. She loved her little babies.i was glad to call her friend
