David Price

David Price went to his heavenly home on Friday, August 31, 2018. He was born May 9, 1944. His devotion to his family and his belief in God provided him strength and peace. He was active in raising his two sons with patience, discipline, and humility. He will be remembered for his generosity.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Edeth Parrott Price and Harry D. Price, brothers, James E. Price, and Charles E. Price. David is survived by his wife of 51 years, Carolyn Steele Price, by his sons, Jason D. Price (Sheila) and Craig A. Price (Erin) both of Montgomery and by 3 grandchildren: Ethan C. Price, Audrey C. Price and Saylor P. Price. Also surviving are his brother John H. Price (Lisa), numerous nieces and nephews, and his sister-in-law, Jane Price.

David served his country in the United States Air Force with courage and selflessness. He gave his time and talent to the community, coaching Conroe YMCA football, basketball, and soccer for numerous years. He was a lifetime member of the Montgomery County Fair Association and Chief Cook for the Woodforest Cookers for 17 years. He spent his spare time barbequing for others and woodworking in his shop. He was an avid fisherman and hunter and always had a story.

A Celebration of Life will be held on September 7th at 4:00 pm with a visitation one hour prior at West Conroe Baptist Church, Conroe, Texas.

The family of David Price wishes to thank all of you who offered prayers and well wishes. We appreciate all those who called, sent cards, texted, and visited. David had many friends and was blessed by the talents he shared.
