Emilie was the light of our lives. She brought so much joy to ever ones life. I admired her bravery and how she was a trouper, an inspiration truly beautiful human being, and I loved her so much. Emilie always express how proud she was of her family, and her love for John and the life they shared. She made everyone around her happy. Jeff and Amber, your mom is an angel now she files high above the rest, and your hearts always forever miss her. she will be your guardian angel through the rest of your life. Your mother is a special person and no one can take her place, you will find a peace of mind when you remember her smiling face. We miss our beloved Emilie. Beth Bell

I will never forget my sister Emilie. And I'm guessing with her passing away on my birthday it was her way of making sure of that. As if I could ever forget my big sister. Emilie was a lot of things to a lot of people kind loving generous. To me she was all that and my earliest memories. She took care of me. She took care of all of us. When Emilie was no longer able to care for herself Johns love and devotion to her comfort was an  amazing thing to see. I'm blessed to have had a wonderful short stay with her before she passed from us. I told her just how special she has always been to me. It was precious time I will keep with me.  When our brother Clinton was married my sister and I showed up in very similar outfits. Needless to say she wasn't happy about this. She wouldn't sit by me at the wedding. This hurt my feelings. We had always had similar taste. However I could forgive Emilie anything.  After all, I wanted to be just like her. I will miss her everyday. And someday  I will see her on the other side. My  daughter Emilie. When Emilie wanted to be be born  she got here in a hurry. She was always in a hurry most of her life.   As a baby she would cry and  whine  and thrashed a lot. We took her from her crib early and put her in to a  low youth bed. One night she rolled out on to the floor and we found her in the closet. Emilie's DR. used the words hyper active I had not heard of this before. I would  do  my best to comfort and console my baby but only her dad could do that only he could calm her. When she was 5years old she had a new purse for church the pastor asked what was in her purse  she showed he him a small dead bird she had found. Around the same age found her walking the plate line on a addition to the house. We hired a babysitter once for the three of them and she  locked them  out of the house ( Emilie did it) . Once she threw a jumping cactus on the back of Dale Byrne.  Emilie was a very generous and loving person. So many more stories and memories I could tell. We all loved her and will be missed by her loving family  Love Mom.                                            

Our hearts are broken.  Emilie, our Emmy, was one in a million.  She was like a second Mom to our daughter when she started daycare for Morganne when  she was 4 months old.  Heart of gold and love to spread around to all the children that were lucky enough to find their way into her heart and home.  Strong, funny, talented warm hearted woman.  I am glad to have known her and will miss her, even though she lived out of state these last many years.  John - I am so sorry for your and your families loss.  I know she will watch over you all and forever be in your hearts.

I'll always remember your smile and laff, we are all gonna miss you

I met the love of my life Emilie back in the early 70's.She was always fun to be around and her smile would just light up the room. During our 41 years of marriage we worked hard to achieve our goals in life but the most important thing to us was being around friends and family. We had 2 beautiful children Amber  and Jeff which i am so proud of. They are so loving and caring just like there mother. Emilie had a special gift for taking care of children. They all loved her and wanted to be around her. Emilie was the best thing that ever happened to me in my life. She changed my life so much and i wanted to be just like her. Emilie was the sweetest, kindest and most caring person that i ever knew and was just a joy to be around. She always put others before herself and would help anyone she could no matter who they were. She touched and changed so many peoples lives that my phone would ring constantly from family and friends asking how she was doing battling her deadly disease. She never gave up and fought to the end. Emilie, I love you, i miss you and you will forever be in my heart. I can picture your beautiful smile in my mind and i am smiling back at you as i know you are in heaven and we will be together again my darling wife.

Aunt Emilie was one of the most caring people I've ever met, and better yet she was my aunt.  She went out of her way to make sure everything and everyone was taken care of. My aunt loved watching her grandkids play and enjoy life.  Her marriage with my uncle John was story book prefect,  they knew each other so well you'd think they could read each other minds.  Aunt Emilie was full of so many different characteristics I loved and envy,  she spoke her mind no matter of the known outcome,  she'd hold her ground to the very end, but she also could admit when she was ever wrong (which wasn't often).  I had the opportunity to stay with my aunt for some time and in the time there I got to see just how hard she works everyday.  Aunt Emilie is,  was,  and forever will be one of the most amazing people I've known.  I love you aunt emilie 

Emilie Diane Allen  was my sister and friend of 60 years . Emilie shared her life with friends and family with true Love and Passion and always looking out for others before herself. As children we were raised by loving parents that gave us a great start in life with morals , ethics , and a Love for God was instilled in us from the beginning of our lives.  My sister was a fighter from the beginning of her live to the very end, she never gave up her illness was just to big to beat . I know my sister is in a better place  and out of pain . John was my sisters right & left hand the last few years and cared for her every need , but God gave comfort to her Heart and Soul . I LOVE YOU and will miss you .   CLINTON RUSSEL BELL
