Grant, was always a faithful friend to everyone he worked with. He was a person, that was always transparent and true. Grant, made our work family stronger -and more than you can imagine, truly like a family of workers that really cared about each other. I feel blessed to know him and to work with him. His faith set the best example for life, love, trust and confidence in life. I believe that Grant knew and believed God’s plan for his life; what a blessing and joy!

It is difficult for me to put into words what Grant Macon meant to me. I say that because I'm afraid I can't really explain the depth of our friendship. I met Grant in 1972 from the first time I met him I wanted to be his friend. I wanted to be around him. I knew he was a special person. And he was. There were times when we were always together. We were roommates twice went on several road trips together . There were times when we didn't speak or see each other for long periods of time. The time apart didn't change anything. I've told people that no one has told me they loved me more times than Grant. I can only end this with what Grant said to me hundreds of time "I love you brother we'll tag up later".
