Kenneth Edward Smyrl was born on September 9, 1927, in Bullard, Texas, to Mack and Lillie Smyrl. He passed away on March 30, 2020, in Conroe, Texas surrounded by his family.

Kenneth is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Edith Cansler Smyrl; son, Kenneth Dwayne Smyrl. He is survived by his sister, Shirley Smyrl Anderson and her husband Billy; daughter, Debra Smyrl Bean; grandchildren, Danna Smyrl Hebert, Richard Dwayne Smyrl, Louis Edward Smyrl, Kristie Cain Wilson, Amy Cain Perry and husband Leon; ten great grandchildren and five great great grandchildren.

There will be a private family interment at Conroe Memorial Park in Conroe, Texas.
