Russell Edward Hill

Russell Edward Hill was born August 24, 1982 in Irving, Texas to Donald Lee Hill and Rebekah Lynn Southern Hill. He passed away suddenly on May 8, 2018 in Denver, Colorado at the age of 35. Russ was a graduate of Conroe High School Class of 2000, but the majority of his “growing up” years were in Irving, Texas where he attended school at MacArthur High School until his junior year. He enjoyed his career working on vehicles, and was a Volkswagen Service Technician for McDonald Automotive in Littleton, Colorado. Russ was a light in the life of so many people. He never met a stranger and he would be a true blue friend to the end. He loved life to the fullest and met every day with positive anticipation. Music was one of his passions. Russ was preceded in death by his father, Donald Lee Hill and his grandparents: Woody and Jessie Mae Hill and William Southern. Those who survive him and will miss him dearly are his loving parents, Rebekah and Jerry Cooper of Conroe, Texas; sister, Susan Lee Hill of Conroe, Texas; brother, Bryan David Hill and wife Jamie of Houston, Texas; his beloved grandmother, Alma Glynn Southern of Conroe, Texas and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends whom he dearly loved. Family was always very special to Russ. Visitation will be at Cashner Funeral Home on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from 11:30am-12:30pm. Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:30pm in the Cashner Colonial Chapel with Bro. Merle Blado officiating. Burial will follow in the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Bedias, Texas.
