Sending payers and love to all family and friends.  I had the honor of meeting this wonderful man at Melissa and Jason’s wedding.  I have heard so many stories and know what an amazing man he was.

It was with deep sadness when I learned of Charles’ passing.  He was a kind and gentle man and always had a good word for everyone.  Had the pleasure of Charles and his loving wife Mary for a short visit at my home in Rothesay, New Brunswick, Canada.  Still can see his smile when he remarked about this area as it reminded him of Minnesota.  He will certainly be missed by all who knew him.

Dear Mary, and all the Glatzmaier family,

I met Charles at Melissa and Jason’s wedding and he was a real sweet gentleman.    Although we only met once I know a lot about him through Melissa  who loves him very much and my son Jason who always speaks highly of him.    I had a very nice time at the wedding sharing a table with Charles and Mary, Tommy, Uncle Loren and Carol and their lovely daughters.   You are a wonderful family.  I have thought of you all often ever since.    It is too bad that we live so far away and I pray that we will all meet again one day with Charles in that beautiful place.    Please know that my heart is with you all!

I just want to tell you of my upmost Thanks for having me out to your homes, 1st in Bloomington MN, then in Illinois, 3rd to Scottsdale Arizona, and finally to Laguna Niguel California.  You have been nothing but gracious to me, especially during and after my  divorce.  I will always remember you opening your home and your heart to me, and your never ending listening ear.  Sometimes it’s the most simple things, such as time and a shoulder to lean on during life’s most trying times.  I will never forget your words of wisdom and your belief in me to do better.  Today, I am a stronger Woman and Mother.  So, from the bottom of my heart, I thank you!  Rest in the arms of Jesus, Uncle Charles.  Please continue to watch over all of us.
