Dear Julie and family, Lori and I just heard...we're very, very sorry for your loss. I knew Doris as a wonderful lady with a beautiful soul because of her love and dedication to her family friends and causes. (Julie always had the best things to say about both her parents) Heaven became a better place on August 1st 2018

i became acquainted with Doris at HB Fuller Co back in the late 70’s!  I was in charge of the Mail Room and worked beside Helen Haley as a relief receptionist!  Doris was a fun and excellent coordinator of all of us at HB Fuller!! We stayed right In touch through the years via of Helen Haley and June Granander getting together with our group of friends a few times . I really enjoyed those dinner parties!  I am so sorry for the passing of such a wonderful friend!  May her memories shine brightly with her family and friends!  She was so very proud of all who had the privilege of knowing Doris!  God bless her children and husband with the beautiful memories she left for you!  The lights in Heaven will be shining a little brighter now!

Thanks for sharing the pictures of Doris to help jog memories. She was always a pretty lady and to see them was good to fill in time gaps. The last time I saw her was when we were going to ND in about 1970 and stopped for a short visit.

So very sorry for your loss.  Take comfort in your memories.  One memory I will never forget is your family trip to Seattle long ago and our excursion to show Julie and Greg the Pacific Ocean that they had never seen before. Magical!

I am so sorry for the loss of a wonderful woman. She interviewed me for a job at HB Fuller in 1978 and we hit it off right away. Her smile, twinkling eyes and laughter will always be in my heart.

So sorry to hear of Doris's passing...no matter what the age etc it is never an easy part of life to accept...i remember
when we first moved into our house on Starlight Donna Ledin (who now is living with Karen in Coon Rapids..i let
Donna know about Doris's passing) told us that "Doris and Norris" lived a couple of doors down...found the names
of them was quite a coincidence..will not be able to be part of the service...my Father who is now 92 and lives up
in Northern Minnesota has been staying with us and is going Home the end of this week and  will be bringing him..
Take care and never forget memories...they cannot be erased...

I miss you "Mutter";  Lord knows I had truly hoped that we would have had more time; but it was not to be.   I love you so much and am so grateful that we got to spend the times we did have.   I thank God for whom you were to me; first my mother,  then my enemy during those teenage angst years; then back to being my Mother...then you became my best friend.  I miss you so much already but know that you are in a very, very special and precious place that God has prepared for us.  My heart breaks that you were dealt with this burden but rejoice that you are  now healed and whole again.  My love and all the light I can project to you follows you home.  Till next time Mutter....I will not say good bye, for I have NO doubt that I will see you again.

Doris &I were close in age and used to play together when her folks would visit. I remember we got in trouble one time for pulling up some of Grandma's potatoe plants thinking we would find new potatoes. I'm sorry she is gone and want you to know my thoughts are with you and hope that memories of good times will help to ease your sorrow. Cousin Howard 

Dear Norris & family, 
     Our sincerest sympathy to you -- we were so sorry to hear that Doris passed away.  We grew up in  Devils Lake, ND, as did you and Doris.  She and I were high school classmates (Class of '52!) and in the same group of girlfriends.  Most of us were at your wedding, too.
     The last time we saw all of you was at your 50th wedding anniversary (15 years ago).   Once again, we extend our condolences.
