He is preceded in passing by his loving wife of 59 years, Delores Niebergall; son, Michael Niebergall;
parents, George and Effie Niebergall; sisters, Rosalyn Moll and Georgene Berre.
Merlin is survived by his daughter, Michelle (Brian) Roeder of Coon Rapids, MN; granddaughter, Alyssa (Jeff) Grausam of Blaine, MN; great-grandchildren, Ryan, Mackenzie and Aiden Grausam; brother, Donald Niebergall of Zimmerman, MN; sister, Karen Babineau of Elk River, MN; and many other family members and friends.
Merlin was an avid hunter and fisherman. He was a Plumber by trade since 1965 with Plumbers Local 15. In retirement he spent a lot of time at their trailer on Long Lake near Cold Spring, MN. He loved to travel with good friends, John and Cindy, and family. He was always helping neighbors with snow removal in winter.
Join us to Celebrate Merlin's Life on Saturday, April 6, at Gearhart Funeral Home, 11275 Foley Blvd NW, Coon Rapids, MN. Visitation at 10 am, service at 11 am with luncheon to follow. Interment will take place at Morningside Memorial Gardens, Coon Rapids.
