Passed away in Tucson, AZ on March 8, 2018 surrounded by his wife and children.
He was born in Cook, Minnesota on January 24, 1935 and moved to Buhl when he was 7 to live with his Aunt Pansy and Pete Starkovich. He graduated from Buhl High School in 1954 where he played football, basketball and baseball. It was at Buhl High School that he met and dated his future wife, Mary (Beasy). After high school, Norman joined the Army where he served in Germany.
Norm enjoyed many activities including curling, fishing, hunting and RV-ing but his greatest joy was his family. He was a wonderful husband and very dedicated father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Norm loved watching his children and grandchildren's activities and would spend endless hours teaching them to hunt or waterski or anything they wanted to learn.
Norman is survived by his Loving Wife of 59 years, Mary; Children, Wendy (Michael) Biallas-Odell, Gail (Robert) Lalla and Norman Jr. (Julie); Grandchildren, Michael (Jessie), David (Amanda), Brandon, Trevor, Mitchell, Bethay (Jacob); Great-grandchildren, Avery, Brooklyn, Lucas, Logan and Dexter; Brothers, Patrick (Jeri) and Gary Sr.
