Her beloved daughter, Madeline; remembers her mother in the following which she wrote - Caring, giving, tender-hearted, compassionate, sensitive, listening, interested, always willing to do and care for others. These are the words that come to mind when I think of my precious Mom, Madeline Still. I know all who knew her would agree with these words.
My Mom strove to pattern her earthly life after her Lord Jesus Christ. She lived with the hope of heaven and a glorious eternal life in His presence. In her own words, "The gift God offers us is free. The gift of eternal life. The benefits are unmatchable." This is the hope she had, this is the peace that is now ours becasue we know she is with the One who loved her and gave His life that she may live. Death has been overcome. We rejoice with her.
I am eternally grateful that the Lord blessed me with her as my Mom. Her family was so important to her and she loved each of you dearly. Our lives are better because of her. Thank you Mom, for being you. You are greatly missed by me and my husband, and by all who called you Aunt, Sister and friend. We love you. Enjoy dancing with Jesus...
Mrs. Still is predeceased by her beloved husband, George; and survived by her daughter, Madeline and son-in-law, Vincent.
