Mrs. Settlemires died Friday, October 30, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family. She was a Godly woman that lived her life for the Lord. Mrs. Settlemires was a member of Emmanuel Holiness Church and loved her church family and friends. The love for her husband and large Settlemires family was the core of who she was. She is survived by her sons; Bobby (Linda) Settlemires, Phillip (Wanda) Settlemires, Keith (Shelia) Settlemires, Steve (Cynthia) Settlemires all of Corinth, daughter; Deborah (Tim) Coombs of New Albany; sister: Pauline (Bobby) James of Ripley, daughter-in-law; Karen Settlemires of Corinth, sisters-in-law; Freida Imogene (JR) Davis of Corinth; Louise Jeanes of Ripley; seventeen grandchildren, thirty-four great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.

In my first memory Of Mrs. Alyene , I accidentally said she was the grandmother of my cousins, Naomi, Brenda and Buddy Barnes, but she was their aunt. She was a wonderful, Christian lady.

Mrs. Alyene was a wonderful Christian lady. I have known of her all my life. She was the grandmother of my first cousins, Naomi, Brenda, and Buddy Barnes. I have always loved the Settlemires family and I will be praying for all of them.
