Annice Braddock Brawner

Funeral services for Annice Braddock Brawner, 97, of Corinth are set for 1:00 PM Wednesday at First Presbyterian Church with burial to follow in Forrest Memorial Park.

Visitation will begin Wednesday at 11 AM until service time in the sanctuary of First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Brawner passed away at Dogwood Assisted Living on July 15, 2019 after a brief illness. She was a longtime resident of Corinth and a longtime member of First Presbyterian Church in Corinth.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 68 years, Arlin Adolph Brawner; daughter, Becky Brawner Plaxico; parents John Hughey and Martha Jewel Ray Braddock; four-brothers, Olin Milton Braddock, Edgar Franklin Braddock, Ray Braddock, John Goff Braddock; two sisters, Mattie Lou Braddock Butler, Hermie Jean Braddock McMillian and daughter-in-law, Becky Nash Brawner.

Survivors include two sons, Arlin Braddock Brawner and wife Judy of Corinth and David Ray Brawner and wife Geri of Franklin, TN; daughter, Louanne Brawner Butler and husband Johnny of Corinth; son-in-law, Bill Plaxico; 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Arlin Braddock Brawner, Jr.; William Howard Plaxico III, David Ray Brawner, Jr., John Andrew Butler Jr.; Carson Brawner Butler, Christopher Flint Marshall, James Carlton Smith, Jr. and Danny Hugh Northcutt Jr.

Rev. Don Elliott and Rev. Waring Porter will officiate the services.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in honor of Annice Braddock Brawner to First Presbyterian Church, 919 E. Shiloh Rd. Corinth, MS 38834 or to the charity of your choice.
