To Roberto's family:

My sincere sympathies to you all. He was a true gentleman who always had a smile. I remember when he first applied for a job at Long Sault Fabrics in the 70's. he was very proud of his children. I last saw him at Cornwall Square if my memory serves me right. We spoke of our times at Long Sault. Good memories. May he rest in peace.

Dear Giussepina, Maria, Lucy, Tonie, Flo and families,

Sending all of our thoughts and prayers. Roberto always brought a smile wherever he went. From Italian club/bocce events, to walkthroughs at the Cornwall Square when I was working there, and visits at home, the smile was always there.

You have all of our condolences, we are sorry beyond words for your loss.

Photo is definitely the image I'll remember of Roberto, my kind Italian neighbour of many years.

Today I laugh thinking of how many times I answered "oh yes" when having a conversation. Due to his heavy accent, sometimes I was uncertain if I was interpreting his words correctly so there I'd go saying "oh yes".

To Roberto and his loving family "Thanks for the Memories".
