Anita R. Trevino

Anita R. Trevino, 90, was called to be with the Lord on Sunday, November 25, 2018. She was born on November 14, 1928 in Runge, TX. She married Adan G. Trevino and they made their home in Corpus Christi in 1953. Anita was a nurses’ aid for several years and devoted all of her life raising 10 children, 1 grandchild and 3 great-grandchildren. She was a very good cook, loved to knit and crochet and had a green thumb. She will be dearly missed.

Anita is preceded in death by her husband, Adan G. Trevino; parents, Jose and Andrea Rodriguez; sons Reynaldo Trevino, Ruben Trevino, Guadalupe Trevino; daughter, Mary Elma Robles; great-grandson, Daniel Trevino; granddaughter, Stephanie Trevino and sister, Ercilla Garcia.

She is survived by her children, Danny (Zully) Trevino Jr., Evelia Escobedo, Lydia (Todd) Kelley of New Braunfels, Robert Trevino, Eduardo Trevino, Anita Lee of Canada and Toni Trevino. There are also 12 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren, great-great grandchildren; sisters, Inez Pena of California, Hermesinda Trejo and Maria Garza; brothers, Jose Rodriguez and Alfredo Rodriguez along with several nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the administrators and staff at Windsor Nursing and Rehab on Fig St and to Century Hospice and Harbor Hospice for making Mom’s final years comfortable.

Visitation will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Chapel services will be held at Memory Gardens Funeral Home on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 10:00 am with interment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
