Carson W Tuma
December 27, 1930 – October 30, 2019
C.W. Tuma was born in Luling, Texas to Clara Williams and Kit Carson Tuma.
He had one sister Barbara (Tuma) Evans.
Growing up in Corpus Christi, Texas he met his wife of 59 years, Barbara Jean (Murrell) Tuma. They moved to Premont, Texas at the age of 19 with their wedding cake on Barbara's lap.
After a few years of marriage Carson and Barbara welcomed their daughter Kathryn Tuma followed by their daughter -Virginia Tuma into their small family.
Carson and his father began the slow journey of creating the Tuma Beefmaster legacy. Together, Carson and his father built the fence lines, corral, and-water tanks by hand.
Carson was a hard-working family-man who spent his days working for the Mobil-Oil-and Gas Company, and his evenings with his family and working on the farm. He volunteered for the Premont fire department and served as a member of the schoolboard.
In his retirement, his mornings and evenings were spent on the farm, and his days were spent enjoying his grandchildren. Carter and Georgia Tuma as well as his wife and daughters. In his later years, he welcomed his first great grandson Camilo Tuma into the family.
Carson, G.W., Daddy, Papa, was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He was humble, kind and the rock of his family.
