Dad loved the outdoors. Camping was one of his favorites and always looked forward to building that late-night campfire. He always looked forward to outdoor activities such as backyard barbecues and the occasional tripas cookout. Easter time was also one of his favorite gathering times when the family camped out and the Menudo was prepped over the fire that kept the night lit into the wee hours of the morning. Dad was a giving person and made friends very easily. He was such an easy going person and befriended anyone he met. He served in the Korean War as a United States Marine from 1950 - 1953 and was awarded The Purple Heart for his bravery; and made life-long friends during his time served for our country. So much can be said about our Father, however, he was a humble person and would want us to keep this short. Once thing for sure, we will all miss you dearly.
