Josephine Francis Anthony passed away May 29, 2018 in Corpus Christi, Texas. She was 101 years old. Josephine was born June 7, 1916 in Houston, Texas to Ernest A. Compton and Juanita Boggs Compton. She moved to Corpus Christi in 1947 and was a member of the Parkway Church of Christ.

Her husband, Donald Manning Anthony and a daughter, Donna Jo Smith preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Anita & Glenn Hennesay, six grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren, many other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at Cage-Mills Funeral Directors. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, June 7, 2018 at South Park Cemetery in Pearland, Texas.
