May God comfort all of you during this time of loss. I am a teacher at Mary Grett and have had the pleasure of meeting her on several occasions when she visited Zachary at school. She was a great person and parent, rest in peace and suffer no more.

Kelly always had a smile no matter what was going on. She kept me laughing with her responses to questions her boys would ask or if someone else was making her laugh.
She was always there for me and my kids, showing her support and live when my Mom passed away in 2016.
Occassionaly she would text or call with a medical question and always start the conversation with " your a Nurse so tell me this " , after the question I would tell her where she should get the help for whatever it was.
I will miss Kelly and her smile and beautiful laugh but mostly I will miss the way she never made me feel unwanted or unneeded in any way.
Fly High my friend , you earned your wings.
Love You,
Ailene

Kelly and I met when our boys were in kindergarten. My son helped Zach make a big boy choice that made my son one of Kelly’s favorite new people and we have been friends ever since. Kelly was a truly genuine person, once she became your friend you were a friend for life. She saw the good in all people no matter their disability. I will truly miss our phone calls and of course our get togethers at our boys’ special olympics events. It will not be the same without her. Although my heart has a whole in it the size of Kelly’s spirit I know she’s not in pain and is watching over us. I love you my dear friend until we meet again.

I met this crazy lady about 5 or 6 years ago at my work at the time. She was talking about her sons, as I came to realize was her usual, and she mentioned that one of them was Autistic. I told her my niece and nephew are both Autistic, and it was like she decided then and there that we would be friends from then on. She celebrated my relationship and marriage to my husband, whom she and Calvin also knew, and she was excited about the birth of our baby. She begged and begged to meet our daughter, and I’m happy to say she got the chance when she was in the hospital. Kelly was an amazing person with a warm heart and infectious spirit. Every time I see her photo, I can hear her voice and laugh. I’m going to miss her tremendously. I truly hope she knew how special she was to everyone and how many people’s lives she touched every day.
