Santiaga "Chata" Christina Hernandez

Christina "Chata" was born in Corpus Christi, Texas on December 5, 1969 to Alberto Reyes and Maria Guadalupe Cuevas. She graduated from Roy Miller High School. She had many pastimes but some of her favorite hobbies was, reading, journaling, photos and spending time with her beloved family. You could often times find her with her Kindle during her free time; however, nothing beat the love she had for her grandchildren and spending time with them. Christina made many friends throughout her lifetime. She is remembered by her childhood friends, customers that became friends through her career in Customer Service. Christina was known to be personable and her loss will be felt by many.

Christina was known as the families "go to person" for photos, invitations, phone numbers and addresses. We feel a deep void and are going to be very lost without her.

Those left to cherish her memories are her daughter, Concepcion "Connie" Hernandez; mother, Maria Guadalupe Cuevas; grandchildren Riley Bree Tamez and Jade Harper Tamez; siblings, Francisco Cuevas, and Sandra Reyes along with her aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews, nieces and extended family and friends.

A visitation for Christina will be held from 12:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at Funeraria Del Angel Cheyenne, 549 Cheyenne Street, Corpus Christi, TX 78405, with a Holy Rosary being recited at 7:00 p.m. that evening.
