Zella Mae (Motes) Redden, born on May 18, 1941 in Corpus Christi, Texas, to the late Ruby Viola (Dehaan) Motes and the late Walter Jesse Motes, passed away at age 77 on November 6, 2018. She was a graduate of Flour Bluff High School.
Zella was the loving wife of the late Len Dalton Redden. She was preceded in death by her brothers, Melvin Motes and David Motes; and sisters, Bonnie Pfiel, Mary Case, and Beverly Curry.
Zella is survived by her son, Gary Len Redden (Yvonne); and daughters, Brenda Kay Eden (David) and Pamela Jane Felts (Larry), 16 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, 16 nieces and nephews, and 8 great nieces and nephews.
Zella loved sewing, cooking, gardening and most of all, family gatherings as family was very important to her. She was also a member of Kings Crossing Church of Christ.
Friends and family members may attend the visitation on Monday, November 12, 2018 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Memory Gardens Funeral Home, 8200 Old Brownsville Road, Corpus Christi, Texas.
Funeral services, officiated by Ronnie Polson, will be held on Tuesday, November 13 at 10:00 am at Memory Gardens Funeral Home with Entombment to follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
