Lawrence W. “Dick” Hall, age 85, of Coshocton, passed away on Saturday, June 9, 2018. He was born in Coshocton County on October 13, 1932, to the late Harold and Leona (Michaels) Hall.

In April of 1948, he married Ada (Corder) Hall who passed away in October of 1983. In 1992, he married Norma (Ashcraft) Hall who passed away in 2015.

Dick served his country in the United States Army from 1950 to 1953 and then joined the United States Air Force serving from 1953 until 1960. After the service he attended Texas A&M University and took technical courses while employed with Tower Communications. Dick worked for Clows for 10 years and then for Tower Communications for 30 years before he retired. He was a member of the VFW #2040, American Legion, and the Elks. He loved getting together with his family and friends. Dick enjoyed camping, traveling, fishing, and woodworking.

Dick is survived by his three children, Rodney (Barb) Hall of Coshocton, Tammy Hall of Coshocton, and Joey (Diane) Hall of Powell; eight grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; two sisters, Helen Shriver and Jean Burris both of Coshocton, one brother, Floyd Hall of Coshocton; and several nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents and two wives, Dick is preceded in death by his daughter, Margaret Hall who passed away in 1994; two sisters, Marge and Jenny and four brothers, Paul, Jim, Bob, and George.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 1:00 to 2:00pm at Given-Dawson-Paisley Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 2:30pm at South Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Mike Bilsza officiating. Military Honors will be conducted by the Coshocton County Veterans Council Honor Guard.
