David L. Wenrick was born November 17, 1950 in South Gate, California. He attended and graduated from Valencia High School in 1968 where he developed a love for cars that continued his whole life. He was also involved in agriculture and was President of the Future Farmers of America. After high school he served 4 years in the Navy where he learned his career trade as an electrician.
He was always very busy, attending his daughters’ and granddaughters’ activities, playing softball, and umpiring. Later he kept busy by volunteering at various auto body shops.
David overcame many physical obstacles in his life and reinvented himself with a creative happy optimism. Riding his electric bike and making friends throughout the community. His collection of Harley Davidson t-shirts was something to be proud of.
He loved his wife, daughters, granddaughters, and coffee. David is survived by his wife, Diane; daughters, Molly and Maddy Wenrick; granddaughters, McKenzie and Charlotte; mother, Leona Wenrick; sisters, Jessie Johnson (Donald), Sydnee Johnsonbaugh (David), Dana Brewer (Russell Libby); and many nieces and nephews.
Come on November 17, to David’s 68th birthday and celebrate his life with Tacos and Coronas from 12 p.m. to 4 p.m. (Tacos served 12:30-2:30) at the Wenrick Home 16342 Lunar St. Westminster
