I was blessed to have Dennis as my cousin. Although we only saw or talked to one another a handful of times each year, I truly enjoyed the banter that we shared. He had a gift of teasing me and making me laugh every time we got together. He took as much as he gave out and always came back for more! I will miss that.
Dennis had a sweet soul and a tender heart. He holds a special place with me. I hope that he is surrounded by his beautiful mother, my mother, and all of those who have gone before us.
Chris, Kerri, and Kurt, my love to you. Unfortunately I know how hard this is and I wish that I could take away your pain. The good news is that you can be proud of the man you called Dad. I hope that helps.
All my love to you.

I didn't know Dennis that well. However I do know that he was an amazing father with a wonderful heart, a wonderful sense of humor, and the best taste in music.

To the family, my heart and my thoughts are with you.

And to Chris, you share your father's love of music, his humor and, most importantly, his heart. You will carry this with you forever and always. Never forget that.

With my love and condolences,

I didn't know Dennis that well, but I do know this...he was an amazing father, with a wonderful heart, a wonderful sense of humor and the best taste in music :-)

I was so sad to hear the news. My heart and thoughts are with the family.

Chris, you share your fathers's heart, humor and love of music and you will carry that with you always.

Your dad was such a great man. The love that you two have is very special and cannot simply be broken by death. Never try to forget him, because that won't happen. He will live on inside you. I don't know how long the grieving will last for you, but I can promise that over time it will get a little easier. I think about my dad every day. Sometimes I still cry. And I anguish at the thought that you have to go through something similar. I keep thinking about how your dad called me Flatebo.. Still makes me laugh when I think about it! You are surrounded by so many people that love you. I know that all of us are here for you no matter what. If there is anything we can do, let us know.

My favorite verse:
Isaiah 41:13
"for I am the Lord, your God, who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, 'Do not fear, I will help you".

I know that God will be right next to you today. My prayer is that you will feel that love.

Much love,

Kerri Allison-Holokai

Dad why did you have to leave us .... Who is going to be my backseat driver who is going to annoy me about my driving and tell me to watch out for those ever so loved drivers as you are trying to step on the brake from the passenger side who am I going to call when I have an issue with my brothers and you tell me how ridiculous I am being and you take me to a whole different place and forget about what I originally had called you for .Who is going to tell Chris and I how horrible of a restaurant we chose to take you to or even how you hate your phone. Oh how I so miss you my dad..I cant believe that you are no longer with us any more.Love you....

God says that he will raise the dead in the last days and we will all be at peace. I am so sorry my children that you had to go through this time of pain and bereavement. God be with you and give you peace.

It is so hard to lose a parent. My heart goes out to you and your brothers and family. God is good, and he loves your Dad, and he loves you and your family. Pray to him and he will give you strength during this difficult time. Always remember the love and joy.

I am terribly sorry for this tremendous loss in your life. I will continue to pray for you and your family during this extremely difficult time in all of your lives. God is still good and will sustain you. He CARES for you. What a blessing to have an intimate God who cares for us; 1 Peter 5:7. I pray for blessing as you continue to grieve and mourn the loss of your father. Talk to you later, Kerri.

Life is a gift that must be given back and joy should arise from its possesion. It's too damn short and that's a fact. Hard to accept this earthly procession to final darkness is a journey done, circle completed, work of art sublime, a sweet melodic rhyme. A battle won. The Book of Counted Sorrows

Good Bye Den... I will miss you. See you on the other side.
