Ramin was always good to me, then again, he was good to everyone. I looked forward to seeing him every day while working at Newport. His smile and good nature always lifted the day. I trusted him enough to loan him my motorcycle. He respected me enough to offer to write me a recommendation letter.
At his house he made me a cup of coffee so strong I shook for three days!
It's sad to know we can't catch up on the old times, but its crushing to know I will not get to see the future his creativity, intelligence and positive energy would have created.
Its often said after someone passes - I will not forget you. In Ramin's case once you know him you can't forget him. -Chuck Sheldon-

I worked with Ramin many years back and saw him numerous times again over the years. Ramin was such a warm person and always had a smile every time you met him. He was well-thought of by everyone that knew him. I’m going to miss seeing Ramin. My condolences to Ramin’s family. We were all better off having known Ramin.

To Ramin's family my deepest and sincere condolences on your loss. I had the privilege of multiple opportunities working with Ramin at Newport Corporation and it was always a great experience. His involvement over the years in the Newport safety program efforts either supporting laser safety, emergency response or other areas was based on the fact that he cared about others above himself. He was a true "class act" and had a great sense of humor to boot. Always ready to lend a hand, go the extra mile not just for getting things done at work but for helping others in their time of need was a quality that Ramin demonstrated time and time again. Again, to his family and all his friends we wish them peace now and always.

From motorcycle trips up and down the coast to long business trips overseas, Ramin was always wonderful to be around. I have incredible memories and stories from our long days together working at customer sites in South Korea.
So sorry that we couldn't get just one more ride in, Ramin.
Godspeed to you and your family.
