I was saddened to hear the passing of Auntie Toe (Toshiko).   Although not blood related Toe was like an aunt to my siblings and cousins.   She was so close to my mother , Utako ; my Auntie Grace (Ayako); Auntie Mayne (Yosuko) and Auntie Reyko.   All them are now dearly departed and have ascended into the heavens with Toe San.   They were all friends since childhood, so she was absolutely a family member at heart.   Nothing, but wonderful, joyous memories of Toe!    A truly sweet, friendly and thoughtful person, full of compassion and love for others.  She was a shining light on this earth.    In spite of her ailments in her later years Toe San continued to be thoughtful (always sent me these neat gifts and snacks via a care package from the west coast)!    Amen!  God rest her soul!   My condolences to the Horikiri family,  Shiraishis, Kims , Kim-Changs and us  Dwyers,
