I met Sharon in the late 90’s when my sister Jo (thankfully) pulled me out of ball retirement to play for the ladies of Valleyview. I eventually became one of the catchers so I got to know Sharon pretty well; feisty and determined are understatements and oh yeah... that comment about marshmallow underneath is bang on. When things were kinda going off the rails I would trot out there to the mound and the only rule was no talking about the game; anything else but the game! And we had some pretty hilarious sidebars let me tell you. She is one unforgettable lady. Her and Steve welcomed us all into their home; the love for each other and their kids was evident. We lost touch but knowing her like I do, I am confident she has left the best parts of her behind with each cherished member of her family cause that’s just the kind of person she was. Hugs to you Steve, Stephanie Steve Jr and the rest of the family; thank you for sharing such a magnificent lady with me.

Dear Steve, Steph, Stevie and family,
So very sorry for the heartbreak you are going through. Sharon was a truly incredible woman who will clearly be missed by so many. Her laugh, her strength, her fierce love of family.....is reflected and lives on in each of you.
What laughs we had at the cottage, and at Mattawa, and the Bon Jovi concert. Sending you all big hugs, and lots of support as you embark on the difficult journey ahead.
Hugs and prayers,
Barb and Dave

Sharon was a sweet, fun loving , happy human being! She was always a joy to be around.
Sharon gave me so many laughs and we had a great time together. She loved her family unconditionally. She was so proud of them all. So many talents she had. Her love of dragonflies is precious, and I am sure she is flying all around with many of them by her side, feeling no more pain. I know we can’t see her anymore, but she will always be in my heart. It truly was a gift to have her in my life! I will miss you pretty girl. Rest In Peace. ❤️❤️

Sharon became a friend of mine almost immediately when I started working at Hubbell. We spent 8 hours a day 5 days a week laughing and carrying on, all while getting some work done. We learned from each other and had a lot of fun in doing so. Her laugh was the most contagious I’ve ever heard, I will never forget it. Sharon was the most caring and kind person with a huge personality, a large amount of sarcasm and the biggest heart.
I am honored and blessed to have known Sharon. I will miss her dearly. My condolences to the family who Sharon loved fiercely.
Sharon, I hope you’re up there laughing and catching mice xo.

To my BFFF Sharon

You brought joy into every life you touched. I cannot find the right words to even begin to represent what you do and will always mean to me. I have been so very blessed to have such a wonderful person in my life for so long. Thank you, my special friend, for being a friend to me! There is not enough space to write that adequately.

Steve....you are her hero. You did everything and more when she needed you. Don’t ever doubt that you are her one true love and cherish all your 40 years of memories. Look around you now...all these people, we will be here for you.

Stevie – you are the child of her heart, remember that. Raise your children: Hailey and Chace, according to your Mom’s guidance of you. She will be the one on your shoulder whispering in your ear.

Stephanie.... Child of her soul. You fulfilled all of your Mom’s dreams becoming a university educated music teacher. She was SO proud of you. You are a Sharon “MINI me”. Keep your faith.

Hailey and Chace - you are the apples of her eye. She adored spending time with you both and was so very proud of being your Granny. Grampy needs you both now more than ever. When he looks at you two, he sees Granny. Spend as much time as you can with him, call him, text him as through you two, he will find comfort and he needs that now. Be there for him.

Hailey – Your Granny’s joy! Know that she never stopped learning. Your Granny was an avid student of many things. Her message to you would be “Never stop.”

Chace - silly Chace....your antics made your Granny laugh and she loved to tell me the latest “Chace escapade.” Keep that spirit.

Crystal - you have 5 very special people who need your compassion and support. Be there for them and realize their lives will never be the same, they will need your understanding always.
Together, all of you can begin this journey, and you need each other to do so.

Forever in my heart, Sharon.

Broken-hearted that my friend has gone. A tough exterior with a mushy soft filling. Only a few of us were allowed to see that and I am forever honored. I miss our talks, inappropriate jokes and endless laughs...hearing your joyful laugh was often the best part of a day! Thank you for letting me stay close to you all throughout this last journey. Forever in my heart.
