I'm so sorry I wasn't able to make it tonight. I so wanted to give you my condolences in person. Know that I was there in spirit. Your mom and your family touched my life significantly. I had so much fun at Girl Scouts at your house. I always looked forward to our meetings and the fun things that your mom always had planned for us. I am forever grateful, Brenda, for your invite to Bozo Circus that your mom coordinated for us. It TRULY was the chance of a lifetime and I thank all of you for that. Finally, we got our precious dog, Daisy, from your mom when your dog had puppies. Daisy was the best dog you could have ever asked for, and we had 18 wonderful years with her. You all touched my life in more ways than you know. I hope we can meet again, maybe with some of the Gavit reunion things that are being coordinated. Peace, love and healing to you all. I know your mom will be terribly missed, and you're all in my thoughts and prayers.

I had the privilege to work with Hope at the YMCA. As I was going to college for my degree in Early Childhood, I assisted Hope in the preschool program. I learned a lot from her. I lost my mother during my time working with her and I remember her giving me a hug and she said she would always be there for me. Her heart was so giving and kind. Prayers for her family.

Mrs Jones was my preschool teacher. Much of who I am today was because of her. Without her work I would be very different. I will always remember my mrs. Jones.
