Marilyn J. Rosinko, age 86, of Crown Point, IN passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2023.
Marilyn was born in East Chicago, IN on February 21, 1937 and, at age 2, her family moved to Dyer where she became a lifelong resident. Marilyn graduated from Dyer High School and worked in Accounts Receivable for Silliker Laboratories prior to her retirement. She was a founding member of St. Maria Goretti Church in Dyer. Marilyn enjoyed all types of music, movies and, in her later years, reality television. Marilyn loved her children and grandchildren beyond measure. She always had the perfect sandwich, a delicious pizza or an amazing cup of coffee waiting for you when you came for a visit. Many cherished memories were made in her warm and cozy home. Her sweet, loving and caring disposition will be missed immensely by all who knew and loved her.
She was preceded in death by husband, Richard Rosinko; parents, George and Kathryn Kollar; and brother, George Kollar.
She is survived by her children, Karen Rosinko Walton, Kim (Doug) Cohen, Richard (Denise) Rosinko and Carol (Bryon) Angerman; grandchildren, Ada and Jared Walton, Courtney and Lindsey Cohen, Alyssa (Ted) Brown, Amanda (Adam) Booth, and Logan and Cameron Angerman; and great-grandchildren Theo, Eleanor and Abigail Brown.
A Visitation for Marilyn will be held on Friday, November 10, 2023 from 9:00 - 10:00 AM, with a Funeral Service at 10:00 AM at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Avenue, Crown Point, IN 46307. Inurnment at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens to follow.
