RONALD E. ALLENBAUGH HAMMOND, IN Ronald E. Allenbaugh, age 54 of Hammond, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2013. He is survived by his loving wife of 22 years, Tammy; children: Josh (Laura Cole) Allenbaugh, Tabetha (James) Alvarado and Tj Frazer. He leaves behind siblings: Evelyn Duke, Dennis Thrall, Debbie (Larry) Hoole, Kenneth (Donna) Thrall, Ron (Katie) Thrall, Patty (Rich) Alvarado. He also leaves behind many nieces, nephews, and extended family members. Ron was retired from Inland Steel, where he worked for 32 years. He was an avid Nascar watcher and loved the Chicago Bears, White Sox, and Blackhawks. His company will be greatly missed by his near constant companion, Skitz. Services officiated by Pastor John Kostelyk. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the family to help with final expenses. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, March 12, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home, 8178 Cline Ave., (one- half mile south of US 30) Schererville, IN. Friends are invited to meet with the family Tuesday from 11:00 a.m until the time of service at Chapel Lawn Funeral Home.
