To my cousins Karl, Ken, Kathy and Kurt and your families:
I am sorry to hear about your mom. She was always so sweet and kind to Freddie and me. Forgive me if I've already told you about the first Christmas Luxie was with us at the Hallberg house, but this showed me what a kind person Luxie was. Because I liked her as soon as I met her, I bought a little bottle of "Evening in Paris" cologne at the dimestore and gave it to her for Christmas. (It probably cost me about 25 cents for half a gallon - haha.) But Luxie was so sweet and acted like she just LOVED it. I will always remember her kind act of appreciation when I was just a kid.
I will always remember her.
