Robert was a devoted husband, father and a big baseball fan. He grew up in Los Angeles and was proud to have served with the United States Coast Guard in World War II. A commercial artist and designer, his accomplishments include some OF Disneyland's first attractions, exhibits for the Seattle World's Fair, and the Queen Mary. He designed interiors for the San Bernardino County Museum, Rose Parade floats, and the cachet for Union Station in Los Angeles. He is survived by three children and four grandchildren
